About Us

Spanish Lions Diving & Safaris Zanzibar

In 1989, we visited East Africa on vacation and were amazed by all the experiences we had. The nature and wildlife were unimaginable. With great enthusiasm, we explored the national parks of Kenya and Tanzania, and also visited South Africa, Uganda, Rwanda, Zambia, Zimbabwe, and Botswana.

In 2002, we opened a diving company in Zanzibar. Under the direction of the new owners, David and Gonzalo from Spanish Dancer Divers, the dive center has become one of the most prestigious in Zanzibar.

Today, we continue organizing safaris. Over the years, we have noticed that many divers wish to visit the national parks of Tanzania or Kenya, which are very close to Zanzibar. Combining diving with safaris is an experience worth having.

With the experience we have gained, we decided to open another company dedicated to safaris.

Additionally, we cannot forget the wonderful experience of sailing on diving cruises around the island of Pemba.

Diving Zanzibar & Diani Kenya

Diving Zanzibar

We operate diving centers in Zanzibar and Diani Beach, Kenya, renowned for their excellent infrastructure and reputation for diving. In Zanzibar, we excel in Mnemba Atoll, a protected marine area, and at Leven Bank, a spectacular underwater mountain. Our dives offer frequent sightings of Napoleon fish, turtles, sharks, manta rays, moray eels, and a variety of other marine life.
